Photographs and Narratives

As part of the Pink Progression exhibit, the Denver Public Library Western History and Genealogy Department will share stories of seven women who marched in the Women’s March on Denver in 2017. Each story highlights issues addressed at the march from equal pay, water rights, immigrant rights and respect for “Nasty Women” everywhere. These photographs are part of the Women’s March on Denver Collection (WH2371,) which is available online in the Digital Collections, YouTube and in person in the Western History and Genealogy Department at the Central Library.

Stories featured are from: Karen Clugston, Asma Hasan, Sara A.E. Rohner, Dana Rae Vaughn-Kivenge, Pamela Hanes, Kate Alderete and Linda C.
